“Becoming a grandmother is wonderful. One moment you’re just a mother. The next, you’re all-wise and prehistoric. ~ Pam Brown
For the weekly photo challenge ‘Together’, I decided to make it all about my precious grandkids. Love them all to bits.
This cute pic is of my son and grandson together in the pumpkin patch.
Then there’s this one of the two little granddaughters, together on the eldest’s first day at kindergarten.
Here are my two older grandchildren, together petting aΒ white Bengal tiger at the ‘Rhino and Lion Park’ in Johannesburg, when we visited them at Easter.
“Grandchildren are precious gifts, given to parents by their children.” Anon
These pictures melted my heart. What a lovely family!
Thanks, Alicia. I love them all to bits. π
What beautiful grandchildren AD, no wonder you are such a proud grandma
Thanks, optie. π xxx
Absolutely precious! The Pumpkin patch picture seems to be the winner π Who could resist that smile!
Yes, he’s just like his Dad. I used to call him “Sammy sunshine” when he was small. π
Awesome pumpkin patch picture!
π Thanks.
Drat, I cannot get into Food glorious food so I will say here I liked it. As for “vegetarian” as I understand it is an Apache word describing a poor hunter.
Sorry to whip the food out from under your nose, newsy. I thought the pics hadn’t gone in properly, and I was in a hurry to go out, so trashed it until I got back from the eye guy. π
wonderful togetherness π
I am so in awe of your background photo. where is that?
Thank you, amira. My background pic was taken at Machu Picchu in Peru. As so many people had remarked on it, I did a post about it. https://adinparadise.wordpress.com/2012/04/19/awesome-machu-picchu-the-story-behind-my-background-pic/
Great photos. That first one is so wonderful π
Thanks, Inga. I think they look so alike. π
