The Daily Post challenge, ‘Create’, made me remember this lovely young Thai woman, who was serenely sculpting away at these fruits one evening as we walked into the dining room at our Phuket resort. Such skill and patience.
Of course there are many types of creativity, and a very enthusiastic tattoo artist had been scarily creative on this woman’s body.
Whilst walking around the markets, I saw this creation, but wasn’t tempted. Although it has a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’, it just wasn’t me. π
The fruit carving is amazing. Fab photos. TFS.
Regards Florence x
Thanks, Florence. xx
@Adinparadise, the first foto wow… beautiful sculture fruit. The second foto .. ha ha ha.. I am jealous π Great foto createtheme this time
Thanks very much. The tattooed lady…… in your dreams. π
π sculture = sculpture. Typo
I knew that. π
They are so beautiful… Loved them all… Thank you dear AD, love, nia
Thanks, nia. Love to you too. π
The fruit sculpture is amazing! π
Yes, it’s such an art, isn’t it. π
Quite… and she looks so calm not harried. Beautiful. π
Wow! to that fruit.
Yes, quite an art to that, Tilly. π
Love the fruit sculptures, don’t like tatoos, except very small discreet ones like the the small of the back.
I agree that tattoos if at all, should b very small and discreet on a woman. The men can go mad if they want to. π
would really like to see those fruit sculptures
Yes, it’s fascinating to watch them do it. They make it look so easy. π
fruit sculpting: brilliant picture!
Hi there, snitch. Thanks for the visit. π
Tattoos like that are so ugly. A real turn off for me.
I so agree with you. Whatever was she thinking?
The dress could be a lampshade with all those tassels, he he. How do they get fruit sculpted like that? Slightest mistake and you have to start over?
Hehehe. I guess it takes a lot of practice, and much watermelon melon juice. π My sister once had a ‘designer’ dress with tasselled epaulettes. She actually did make a lampshade out of it.
So colourful!
Yes, and especially the tattoos. π

Thanks for the pingback. π
Great post… I like… π
Thanks, Bams. Hope you have a great week. π
my vote goes to the fruit, a traditional skill, amazingly creative sculpture!
Thanks, Christine. Yes, it is wonderful to watch.
i have always wanted to get a tattoo…but getting old and saggy puts me off. You so should have bought that outfit…oh yes you should !!!
I’ve never been tempted to have a tattoo. My gran had a couple, and they weren’t pretty. π Where would I wear that outfit? Couldn’t really wear it to play the piano, or to go shopping, and definitely not to the beach. π
Washing the dishes…imagine it with a pair of rubber gloves !!!
π
Perfect! Why didn’t I think of that? π
Yes, very nice interpretation of the theme. Is it me or are they getting harder?
Thanks, Gunta. Yes, the themes are quite challenging aren’t they? It’s fun though. π
Hi,
Great photos for the theme. π
Thanks, Mags. π
Hi AD, often wonder these days with tattoos, whether ‘not very bright’ people are short of stuff to spend their cash on π
Hmmm…. that’s one theory, Chris. π
The fruit carver wins hands down. The other two do seem to have gone a bit overboard π
Agree with you, Madhu. π
Fun shots, nice variety. I especially like the fruit carver.
Thanks, Naomi. Yes she was so good at it.
A wonderful mixture of creativity. Don’t know about the tattoo though.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Thanks, Francine. No, me neither. π
The fruit is amazing but I think the tattoo lady will look pretty silly when she is old!
Thanks, Gilly. Let’s hope she doesn’t strut her stuff in a bikini when she is old. π
The need to release a spark of creativity is one of the main reasons for my other blog (the model building one). Good read my friend, makes me itch to sit at the workbench (after church and teaching the wife to ride,of course π )
The DC
Well all this activity will keep you out of mischief, DC. Enjoy. π
LMBO,let’s hope so π π
The tattoo are funny. Love the mannequin π
Thanks for the visit, Anette. π
