Very strange juxtaposition of the satellite dish and the almost-ruined toilet. Is there a TV set up inside?
This was as close as I got, Cathy. π
Probably a very wise move! π
For years we had a long drop on our weekend retreat and it wasn’t nearly as smart as this one. Called it view with a room and loved it dearly. Such character.
Well, this is the first time I’ve known someone to wax eloquent over a loo. π
Lol! Now that’s cool π
Glad you think so. π
When ya gotta go, ya gotta go π
Well, that’s very true, Gemma. π
Works like a charm I bet. π
I’m sure it does. I guess you’d want to get out of there as quickly as possible. π
LOLOLOL!
Glad you liked it, Suzanne. Luckily, I wasn’t dying to go, at the time. π
This almost rivals the shots Dallas posts from Turkey. Where was this?
Forget the “almost”… it’s definitely up there in the top ten. π
Thanks, Gunta. It’s always nice to be up there with the craziest. π Photo taken next to the Temple of Wiracocha in Raqchi, Peru.
And water heated by those solar panels? π Love the contrasts!
Actually, hubby says that they probably also run the satellite dish. π
I’m sure I’ve stopped at places like this in emergencies in my travels π
Any port in a storm. π
Is there any Andrex inside? and did you see what’s round the back?
I shouldn’t imagine that there’s any Andrex in there, but you never know. I didn’t venture round the back. π
I don’t think I would feel very comfortable going in there with the lock being on the outside! π― Not a place you would want to be locked into I’m thinkin’. π
OMG, I didn’t notice the padlock. That would be worse than being in the doghouse! π Maybe it was just to keep us tourists out. π
I wonder why the co-ordinates of that toilet is… π
Why…..do you need it badly. π
Oops… My typing seems to be a bit off lately π
π
Excellent pic ad!
*hugs*
Thanks, Hopestar. It just tickled my fancy. π Hugs to you.
It looks like this toilet has satellite TV supplied… or for that matter sit down internet connection… so you can post while you ……… yes…
Yes, it just needs to have a cappuccino machine and it could rival Starbucks. π
Damn now that brought on a laugh out loud moment…Linda is looking at me curiously awaiting an explanation…
π I hope it made Linda smile too.
The immovable portalet.
The ultimate in modern convenience. π
Priceless!
π
Amazing that there is no security around that equipment, in South Africa it would be long gone π¦
You have a very valid point there, Chris.
Where’s the vent fan?!? π
The DC
I didn’t get close enough to investigate further, just in case you think I actually ventured inside. π
LOL π
Was there a window? A satellite dish is all very well but I think this place needs a window first.. π
Or perhaps an extractor?
Yes, I think that if you were sitting in there watching TV, an extractor would be more important than a window. π
Some ventilation at least.. π
Well, clearly they have their priorities perfectly in order π
And walls, H!! Don’t forget the walls π
Oh yes, Malema would like the walls. Something to destroy. π

Wow, a toilet without a queue π
………and a satellite dish too. π
