Death by Chocolate Cheesecake.

We had such a great day today, and I saw my sister’s lovely new house for the first time. Of course, my mom was there in her Sunday best, and looking very good indeed. Scrumptious roast pork lunch with all the trimmings was on the menu, and I had been requested to make a chocolate cheesecake, which I happily did. When my sister saw it, she exclaimed, “You really don’t do things by halves, do you?” I have to say that it was absolutely ‘to die for’. Please help yourself to a slice, but you’d better not ask how many calories, and please don’t take the white bunny. That’s my brother-in-law’s. πŸ™‚

    Great post! *hugs*

  2. Oh no! Are we going to seeing lots of foodie pics again? πŸ˜‰
It looks divine, would you mind if I took half instead of just a slice? πŸ˜€

  3. Hi Sylvia,
This is simply superb! The perfect post–visually appealing, exciting to the imagination, and it just made me smile again and again. Hope your brother-in-law liked the white bunny. We always have to save the white bunny for my brother Lew

    • Thanks so much, Naomi. What is it about that white rabbit? He was adamant that it was his, and no-one else could have it. Grown men are just little boys in long pants. πŸ˜†

  4. My dear friend, I have nominated you for A very Influential Blogger Award! Congratulations! Please visit this link:transcendingbordersblog.wordpress.com/2013/04/01/most-influential-blogger-award/

  5. happy easter ad … fabulous cheesecake … my d-i-l went over the top with cake-making too, i hope she takes the leftovers home today!

    • Thanks, Christine. Yes, that’s why I left the remainder at my sister’s house, but then she counteracted by giving hubby a huge slab of Christmas cake that she’d saved for him. 😯 There is no hope.

  6. If you promise to save a small piece, I’ll book a flight right away. Thanks for the peak into your Easter.

  7. some things are just worth dying for AD πŸ˜‰
Chocolate is always one of them!!
