This is my first entry for Ed’s Sunday Stills Challenge. This week the theme is boats of any shape or size, so here are a few boat pics which I managed to source in a bit of a hurry, as Sunday is almost over.

Bangkok on the Chao Phraya River.

Long-tail boats in Phuket

Yacht in San Pedro, Belize.

Seen from the beach in Umhlanga Rocks, with the city of Durban in the distance.

A somewhat drenched me with ‘Jack Sparrow’ in rough seas, on a dive boat in Belize.

River Thames, London.

Beautiful Bahamas.

Rhine River, Rotterdam.

A pleasure boat on the canal in La Petite France, Strasbourg.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my boats for Sunday Stills. To see more entries, go here.

Beautiful pictures ad 🙂
Thanks, Hopestar. Hugs to you. 🙂
Wonderful gallery ….. I love everything with boats and water *smile …
My favorite shot must be – La Petite France, Strasbourg. Love the colors and the sharpness in that photo. And it’s so much Strasbourg, one of my favorite cities in France. Enjoyed this post very much. *smile – only thing is that it’s a pity that the photo of you is so dark. *smile
Thanks so much, Viveka. Yes, Strasbourg is a stunning city and I would have liked to spend more time there. The pic of me and jack Sparrow is dark, but we had stormy weather and the sea was really that colour. 🙂
Ad, I think if you use a software – you can front light the photo. I use PhotoScape – free download and you can increase light and make photos darker. A pity that neither of your faces shows.
I will see if I can fix it lighter for you. *smile
Thanks so much, Viveka. It does look so much better now. 🙂
Yes, it does …. my pleasure – when ever you need help let me know.
so beautiful photographs dear AD, Thank you, have a nice day, love, nia
Thanks so much, dear Nia. Wishing you a very happy week. 🙂

Amazing collection, Sylvia – so colourful and various. I found myself the most drawn to the “Yacht in San Pedro, Belize” 🙂
Thanks so much, Ese. Yes, that yacht appeared one morning as we were sitting eating breakfast at our hotel. It had to be captured of course. 🙂
Magnificent as always!
Thank, dear Gunta. 🙂

Such great photos. What wonderful boat trips!
Thanks so much. 🙂
a great selection ad, I love how in some photos the sky is blue and in others it is cloudy, the weather is so close to you when you are in a boat!
Thanks, Christine. yes, you’re so right about the weather being so close. It was actually quite scary in that small dive boat when the storm came up. I’d never experienced anything like that before.
😉
