Well it’s the last day of the month and I decided I’d better get my skates on and do Marianne’s ‘Pink’ Challenge.
In Italy, I wore my pink sun hat almost every day. It goes so well with gelato, don’t you agree?
Outside Starbucks, we spotted this sparkling pink Jag. I wanted to hang around to see if the driver was a woman or a man, but hubby wasn’t as curious as I was, so we’ll never know.
I wonder who is wrapped up so warmly in this pink doggy bath towel. Can you guess?
It’s none other than my sweet little granddaughter Taylor, who undoubtedly loves the colour pink.
I’ve found out over the years, that some of the nicest things come in pink packages.
In Great Grandma’s pond, there floated the most beautiful pink water-lily.
Sultry Bali nights can be a really magical pink,
but at the end of the day, there’s nothing quite like a pink Florida sunset.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my pink pics. To see more, click on the badge to hop over to Marianne’s blog.
The two blogs which I would like to share with and recommend to you this time, are:
Babsje Heron, who posts about her marvelous experiences with the Great Blue Herons in her neighbourhood. I love seeing her photos, and reading about her encounters with these beautiful birds.
Lynne Mayhew is a writer, who travels “on and off the beaten path” with her photographer husband Ron. Her posts are both fascinating and educational, and I always look forward to the next one.
Do pop over to see them, and tell them I sent you.
as a Brit the pink jag is just wrong 🙂
Absolutely wrong, Scott. 🙂
Lovely shades of pink! The sunset is gorgeous! Blessings, Robyn
Thanks so much, Robyn. 🙂
All pink and fluffy AD 😉
Loved the pink pics 🙂
Thanks so much. 🙂
Gorgeous photo of you, and Taylor is such a beautiful little girl. 🙂
Thanks, George. 🙂
I am feeling aglow and happy on this gray rainy day after viewing your In the Pink pics. Very fun.
Thanks, Ruth. Glad you enjoyed. 🙂 xx
You look great in your pink hat. 🙂 and your granddaughter is so gorgeous. Great pink series all around 🙂
Thanks so much, Inga. 🙂
You’ve convinced me that pink is a lovely color. It wasn’t my favorite until you showcased so many wonderful things that come in pink. The hat has to be my favorite as I wear hats all the time when I’m outdoors. Victoria’s Secret take the # 2 spot. Your adorable granddaughter is #1 in your heart. And … thanks for the Jag idea. I will have to have mine painted pink when it becomes more of a classic. ~~~~~ : – ) xo
Thanks for your lovely comment, Izzy. Glad you like my pink hat. 🙂 I’m not sure about a pink Jag though. 😕
ho amato il tuo rosa…noi in Italia a Rimini abbiamo la notte rosa…eccotene un assaggiohttp://www.cesenaticoholidays.com/Images/events/cesenatico/notte-rosa-cesenatico_600x398.jpg
Thank you again. I looked up some images of Rimini sunsets, and I saw the beautiful pink skies. 🙂
Such lovely pinks, ad. Love that pink Jag!
Thanks, Hopestar. It was very pretty indeed. 🙂
Pink is a soft beautiful color.
It definitely goes great with gelato 😉
Your granddaughter is a cutie. She’s got pinchable cheeks 🙂
Thanks, RoSy. Yes she really has.:)
I think matching your hat with your gelato is marvelous idea!
It certainly would add meaning to that saying, “Well, I’ll eat my hat!” 🙂
Who’s pretty in pink then … difficult to choose AD.. or maybe I don’t have to 🙂
Such a beautiful blush pink sunset … what a view near you !
You don’t have to choose, Poppy. Love the sunsets here. I just wish those other houses would get out of the way. 🙂
Your grandaughter is SOOO precious! I have to say…everytime I think of pink I am reminded of Mary Kay’s Pink Cadillac.
Thanks so much, Laurie. This photo was from one of her modelling shoots. Mary Kay is new to me, but a pink Cadillac would surely be quite a sight to see. 🙂
I never own anything pink. I’m pretty sure I’m not just avoiding the feminist color. You know why? ‘Cause I can eat anything pink, and I love love pink cloud amd sky, 😉 Great start and ending.
Thanks so much, Rommel. I can’t imagine you in pink, but I imagine you enjoy eating pink shrimp. 🙂
Wonderful selections of pink 🙂 Beautiful sunset!
Thanks, Amy. Yes, we do get some spectacular sunsets here. 🙂
Wonderful choices for the theme, Sylvia 🙂
Thanks so much, Ese. 🙂
Wow , your photos are just stunning ! … Love the one of your grand daughter, she is gorgeous … And i wish that someone gave me a pink package from Victoria´s Secret 🙂 … // Maria 🙂
Thanks, Maria. The nice thing about Victoria’s Secret, is that even if you just buy yourself a little present, the packaging is so special that it and makes you feel like it’s your birthday. 🙂
gorgeous pink pics, ad..loved the pink jag and the sunset but your granddaughter’s is the most adorable 🙂
Thanks so much, Deepali. 🙂
A pink Jag. Not sure what to say about that. Nice collection
Hehehe. Thanks, TBM. 🙂

Take care and regards
Hi Gail. Thanks so much for your lovely comment. Love from Sylvia. 🙂
Well you’re certainly in the pink! I adore your photo of Taylor, what a beautiful child and I’ve never seena pink jag 🙂
For sure, Gilly. I’d also never seen a pink Jag before. I’d have to have my nail polish and shoes to match. 🙂
Just the most amazing and beautiful pink selections Sylvia. Your granddaughter is just so adorable! Thanks for sharing hon. 😀 *big hugs*
Thanks so much, Sonel. Glad you enjoyed. 🙂 xx
LOve this post.
I have always liked the idea of a pink car, I just can’t find a pink I would drive around in happily.
And really – pink hats go with gelato? Pull the other one, it’s all hats that go with gelato *giggle*
Hehehe. Yes, you’re right, sidey. 🙂
Beautiful pinks, I love your post my dear friend ,all the best for you With love maxima
Thanks so much for your beautiful comment, Stefan. 🙂
Beautiful pinks, love them all.Taylor has beautiful smile 🙂
Thanks so much, Praveena. 🙂
Pink is one of those colors that pops a smile. Taylor is a beauty and I imagine all colors look great on her. I guess the pink bag will just have to remain a secret.:) Thanks, Sylvia for the blog hop mention. What a surprise.
Thanks, Lynne. My pink bag was so long ago, I’ve forgotten exactly what was in it. 🙂 You’re so welcome to the mention, Lynne. You and Ron both have great blogs.
Well Taylor is just gorgeous and for me it would have to be that beautiful sunset coming in second I think. Pink is just such a fun and yet peaceful colour as well… depending on the shade. Amazing how it can be both.
Thanks so much. All my granddaughters love pink, although they’re not very peaceful at times. 🙂
btw, when I click on your avatar or your blog name, it doesn’t take me to your blog. 😦
I’m not sure how the Avatar should work really. I did try to set it up a few times when I first started blogging a couple of months backl. However I’m still experiencing lots of difficulties with this. I find my photo Avatar will show on some blog sites but not others. I’ve even had a couple of experiences where by Avatar has changed completely. Maybe I do need to spend some more time on this.
lovely collection of pinks!! I especially like the bougainvillea and the pink water lily. and Taylor is adorable!! in any color I imagine 😉
Yes she is. Thanks so much for your comment. Those flowers in my header pic, are azaleas in New Jersey. Aren’t they magnificent? 🙂
oh wow!! those are some awfully big azaleas!!
Love the variety … cheers to Taylor!
Thanks so much, Frank. 🙂
LOVE the water lily, but the pink cheeks on your granddaughter are the cutest.
Thanks so much, Brenda, She has those cheeks that you just want to gently pinch. 🙂
Great shots, I bet the pink Jag is a Mary Kay cosmetics reps car, all of them are pink..:-))
Thanks, Ed. I’d never heard of Mary Kay before, but your comment made me go and investigate her. 🙂
Love that hat!!! 🙂
Thanks, Rebecca. It’s a bit battered now, after being packed in the case, but I shall revive it. 🙂
Such a cute PINK post. I love the comment about your hat matching your gelato! Adorable granddaughter. Margie
Thanks so much, Margie. 🙂
That’s a lot of wonderful Pink, So. Where’s my ice cream? 😛
Thanks, Andy. I ate it. 😀
I enjoyed your pink photos from the pink Jag (definitely a women owner) to your adorable granddaughter.
Thanks so much, Karen. 🙂
Might have known !! Out with it Sylvia !! What’s in the Victoria’s Secret bag ?? A little red or black number I expect, but definitely NOT pink 😉 Happy Tuesday my friend. Ralph xox 😀
Yes you’re so right, Ralph. It’s all or nothing with me, and actually it was black. 🙂
Ooooh. Too much detail 😉
That was too bad that you did not learn whether a man or a woman drives that pink Jag. I would love to know that too.
Sorry I can’t satisfy your curiosity. I’ll keep an eye out for it on the roads here. 🙂
Pink that melts the heart and inspires the world to smile. Pink hat and gelato…awesome! Taylor has your beautiful smile!
Thanks for your lovely comment, IT. 🙂
We have a pink (retro) Thunderbird convertible that is often parked at the hospital. Must work there, but I’ve never seen the driver. Taylor is just too adorable in pink. I’m not so sure I’d limit my appreciation to a pink FLORIDA sunset…. 😉
Just a bit of poetic license, Gunta. We all know that Oregon sunsets are the absolute tops. 🙂
Teehee… great diplomatic comeback. Tonight was a total wash with heavy clouds or fog getting in the way. Should have gone out earlier when there were lots of fluffy clouds and lots of rainbows I’d be willing to bet.
Some beautiful pinks there, Sylvia. Thanks for sharing them with us
Thanks so much, Al. You’re welcome. 🙂
What, no pink ice cream?
I love Jags so much I could even tolerate that one …
Taylor does pink with dispinction!
The lighting in Bali is incredible.
Thanks so much, Col. I think the side of the ice cream that I was licking, was pink. 🙂
I love the sunset the most. To me, that’s the best time of the day
Thanks, TA. It’s almost that time here. 🙂
