This little critter is always very active out on our patio. Yesterday, as I was sitting admiring a pretty butterfly which was flitting about among the flowers, naughty Lizzie suddenly appeared and wolfed it down, without even an apology. π¦

Good day adin. Long time no chat,LOL!!! I am glad to see u are still up and running with another grate post as usual.
What a naughty little lizard! What did the poor little butterfly ever do to him? π Great post! Giana.
hahaha β¦ he’s enjoying his meal and I’m running in the opposite direction.
WOW β¦ nice capture.
Thanks, Issy. Poor butterfly. π¦
I love the pic, AD!
Thanks, Zirkie. π Happy New Year to you. xx
Naughty creature. I feel bad for the butterfly.
Me too. π
so cute. and what a pose! π
Thanks so much, Lola.
I have started a new blog http://anotherday2paradise.wordpress.com/
Yikes! But nice to witness that nature of the beast.
π
Love it! π
Thanks, Ruth. π
Gotta be quick in the animal kingdom! Having said that, it seems you were pretty quick to capture such a lovely shot Sylvia. π
ha-ha!! you captured Lizzie perfect. βΊ
Thanks so much, Sunshine. π
so full of personality- great shot!!
Yes, they have such cute little faces, Cindy. π
How rude!!
Hehehe I forgave her. π
What a “norty” little lizzie! π
Exactly so, Hopestar. π
It’s rude to stare at someone when they’re eying you know π
You try telling him that. π
lol…yes they can be rather unapologetic can’t they…we don’t have them here but my mother has them in Florida and I enjoy watching them…
Absolutely, Heather. They’re such cheeky little things. π
It looks quite !
π
Γ¨ semplicemente magica!
Well, I really hope that my resident lizard brings me good luck. π I missed seeing that carved one when I visited Pisa. Do you have a photo? Have a lovely day, Ventis. xx
eccola! bisogna essere del luogo per sapere certe cose…se ci tornerai ora puoi andarla a cercare e carezzarla!
oppss avevo dimenticato la traduzione
Here it is! you have to be to know certain things … If we come back now you going to try and stroke it
Thanks so much for showing me, Ventis. I’m sure that many visitors have stroked this beautiful lizard. π
I love them and they always look so interested in everything – including you!
Yes they do look very alert, adee. Cute little creatures. π
Aren’t those little guys fascinating and fearless too.
Yes they truly are, Ron. π
a much nicer photograph of a lizard than my WW offering AD, funny we both have reptiles this week!!
I have to agree with you, Christine. π
She looks quite pleased with herself with butterfly in her tummy!
Yes she does. π
I’d like to see the “wolfing down” part. π
Sorry I wasn’t prepared for the action, Tom. π
Cute little guy! Good thing the cat didn’t get him. π
No cats around here, but lots of birds.
Guess that’s why. π
that is a sweet creature…. shame about being gobbled up….
Yes it is, Ute. π
Looks like he’s staring right at you. π Nice shot.
Yes, I think he likes me. π
Them things ought to be the Florida mascot. I remember them all over my mom’s place. I think they’re even more numerous than the better looking birds.
I agree with you. Thankfully the alligators, aren’t nearly as plentiful, and aren’t on my patio. π
But Lizzie is so pretty, and she does have to eat π
Yes, this is so true. I forgave her. π
Phwatta – a – cheeky – Lizzie !
Hehehe. π
So cute! Nice capture π
Thanks, Amy. π
Poor you having to witness such an outrage. Lizzie looks very alert and as if waiting for the next bite. Excellent take, Sylvia π
Thanks, Paula. I was shocked beyond words! π
He looks like a Lizzie with an attitude: “Got problem?”!!! π
Hahaha. You’ve read him right, Marina. π
Were you on your hammock Sylvia when this lizard took your butterfly ? π Ralph xox π
Sorry to disappoint you Ralph. I wasn’t, and maybe it’s a good job, because I might have fallen right out with the shock of seeing the beautiful butterfly being gobbled up. π―
Thank heavens for that. A&E would have a giggle if your hammock was involved π
And so would you, Ralph. π
Who me ?? Never !! π
Lizzie is so cute!!! We all have to eat : )
Very true, Yes Lizzie seems to really like the back of my house. π
I am so JEALOUS of this little lizard lying in the sun!
He doesn’t appreciate how lucky he is. π
LOL RIGHT!!!
What a great shot. You lucky fish!
We have lizards all over the place at our spot and I have yet to manage a photo (they are so darn quick) and certainly not one as good as this.
He’s almost posing for you!
Thanks, Ark. He/she is always lazing around the place. π
Well, you have a good ‘eye’.
I actually have two. π
Ha, ha! I practically asked for that line, didn’t I? π
‘Yes, lady, I do agree that was a lovely insect – tasted superb!’
Hehehe. Cheeky blighter! No, not you, Col. π
he thought he was protecting you!
What a sweet thought, LuAnn. π
Never heard of live and let live, huh? π
Obviously not his motto. π
He still looks excited π
I’ve never thought about lizards getting excited, Gaurab. π
How rude!! he’ll get his just desserts soon enough π‘
Hehehe. Yes, those big birds around here are very partial to lizzies. π
~Maniacal cackle~!
Clever Lizzie π
Yes, I suppose if you don’t like butterflies………:D
Well he is kinda of cute with that long tail…but he is a naughty boy.
Yes he is a naughty boy, Laurie. π
*tsk tsk* Lizzie needs to learn some manners. π π
Hahaha Would you like to teach her? π
Hope he gets a tummy ache tonight π
Shame, Pussycat. He’s just doing what comes naturally. π
…. : ) My funny lady, I didn’t expect to find this one…. But beautiful shot. Thank you, have a nice day, love, nia
Hehehe. I’m full of surprises, Nia. Love and hugs to you. π
